Wednesday, 07 November 2012
Worth Art Department are delighted to have been given the opportunity to promote our contemporary and forward thinking Department in the Saatchi Gallery’s Educational Space. This is a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to see their work in the same context as recognised contemporary artists. The pupils exhibiting have worked in different media, showing a broad range of techniques and skills. The Department is very proud of their achievements and I hope you will celebrate our success by visiting the show.

On Wednesday 21st November the Saatchi Gallery opens to the public with two new exhibitions called GAIETY IS THE MOST OUTSTANDING FEATURE OF THE SOVIET UNION and Breaking the Ice. The exhibitions showcase a wide range of modern and contemporary Russian art. Alongside these exhibitions the education department holds exhibitions of school’s work and young people’s projects. Worth School has been selected as having entered outstanding work into the Saatchi Gallery/Sunday Telegraph Art Prize for Schools. From the 21st November – 17th December we would like to display an exhibition of Worth School’s work in our Education Gallery on Level Two.
