Experimenting with beetroot

Sylvester is helping Harnoop to put beetroot discs into test tubes of ethanol. Ethanol damages the membranes of beetroot cells. Sylvester’s hypothesis is that more colour will leave the beetroot discs if they are put into more concentrated alcohol.
