10 February 2010
Sallis Benney Theatre, University of Brighton, Brighton
The second in a series of three discussions by artists, writers and curators working with contemporary photography, devised by Photoworks and the University of Brighton. This series focused on the nature and use of objects within the representational space of the photographic image.
Richard Wentworth in conversation with leading product designer Kit Grover.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in the 1970s, Richard Wentworth has played a hugely influential role in contemporary British art. His work manipulates industrial and/or found objects into works of art, transforming the way we think about sculpture and photography. In his ongoing project Making Do and Getting By, Wentworth has been documenting aspects of everyday life over the past thirty years.
