Out of Focus – Saatchi Gallery
Dear All,
This weekend I went to see a brilliant Photography Exhibition called ‘Out of Focus’ at the Saatchi Gallery – presenting the work of 37 ‘disparate photo-practitioners’. I would strongly recommend that you take a look at this show (which closes on July 22nd) simply because it proves to be a fascinating survey of a number of varied photographic practices, showcasing a full range of printing techniques and photographic presentations, whilst covering multiple ideas and themes consistent within the history of both art and photography. For those students thinking of doing A-Level Photography next year – Out of Focus is a wonderful resource for this course and clearly demonstrates the high level of creativity that can be achieved when using this medium.
It is also FREE, leaving you with little excuse to miss it!

You can get to the Saatchi Gallery from Sloane Square Tube Station (one stop from Victoria – circle/district line). It is no more than a 10 minute walk from the station along Kings Road.
I really hope you enjoy Out of Focus as much as I did – I’d wish I had seen a show like this when I was at school.
Kind Regards,
